blist - New widgets, Obama team, and new blog

blist-logo

Hello from blist,

We are proud to announce several exciting developments at blist, including:

  1. A full suite of useful blist widgets that make it much easier to both get data into blist from the web, and to publish data in blist out to the web.
  2. President Obama's transition team using blist on their website.
  3. blist CEO, Kevin Merritt's new blog for entrepreneurs, technologists and data lovers.

Our suite of widgets includes:

  • Form widgets which are great for easily adding contact forms or request for information forms on your website – as soon as a customer submits the form, the information shows up in the blist you are using for CRM, leads or contact management. See a form widget here: http://www.blist.com/what-is-blist/blist-widgets
  • Grid widgets that are editable in place and are great for embedding in a wiki page allowing collaboration on data right in the wiki that is much more powerful than a simple html table. See an editable widget here: http://www.blist.com/what-is-blist/blist-widgets

The Obama Presidential Transition Team started using a blist grid widget earlier this month. You can read about it here:

If you've been a long-time subscriber to the blist blog - you know how insightful and compelling Kevin's posts on entrepreneurship, startups, technology and venture capital are. Kevin does a great job taking specific lessons learned from his career, telling the stories, and explaining clearly and entertainingly how others can benefit from his experience.
