Fashion: Lauren Nevada Femme-loving designer Lauren Batchelder crafts her clothes from the ground up, from constructing patterns for cutout dresses, striped tees with gold shoulders, and tulip skirts to collaborating with artists from Brooklyn to Tunisia on photography and styling. Health and Beauty: Soap Cartel When it comes to skin care, soapstress Dayana Ariza gets down to the nitty-gritty. She developed her best-selling soap balls and sticks and activated charcoal-based bars in her home workshop in 2009 and has been devoted to helping fans clean up their acts ever since. Home: Uprise Art We know great art when we see it. And so does Tze Chun, whose virtual gallery serves as a meet-cute for talented artist friends and collectors who want to get their hands on emerging work. Food and Drink: Honeysuckle Gelato Founders Khatara Ballard, Wes Jones, and Jackson Smith make frozen treats with a Southern spin, from a boozy mint julep to pretzel- and peanut-infused Snacks on a Plane.
