The damsel-in-distress tale comes to life through Greta Gerwig, as she struggles with her battered relationships with ex-fiance Luke, played by The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman, and best friend Henry, played by that guy from The Future with hair from the past. Also worth noting: Zoe Lister-Jones co-wrote the script with director husband Daryl Wein, and Another Earth’s Fall on Your Sword scored the music. It’s like: Greenberg meets Girls. Take: The ladies. Screenwriter-turned-director Lorene Scafaria introduced you to Nick and Norah, but this season, tag along with Dodge and Penny and a dog called Sorry on their infinite, or rather, finite, adventure. Matilda (a big asteroid) is barreling toward Earth; Deliverance (the rescue mission) failed to stop it.
